unique qualities.

WISE Mentor Program

WISE, the Eberly Center's Women in STEMM Excelling mentor program, is
accepting applications for 2009-2010.  If you are going to be a first
year student majoring in any STEMM discipline and would like a mentor
for the upcoming year, please call Charlene Gilbert, 530-8570 or email
Isabel Escobar at Isabel.escobar at utoledo.edu.

Want to volunteer some time?  If so, consider one of the following
activities:

 

Returning to Learning Mentor Program - NEEDS MENTORS!!!

We are in immediate need of volunteers to serve as mentors to
non-traditional women students.  If interested call 419-530-8570 and ask
for Angela.

 

GEMS - Girls Excelling in Math & Science

We need tutors for girls in math and science at a local elementary
school.

911 Cell Phones for Women's Safety

Please donate any and all cellular phones to be recycled. The phones
will be used to help the many women and children who are affected by
domestic violence in Lucas County. The recycled cell phones will only
have the capacity to dial 911 in the event of an emergency. A collection
box is located at the Eberly Center for Women.
