WISE Mentor Program

WISE, the Eberly Center's Women in STEMM (Science, Technology,
Engineering, Math and Medicine) mentor program 

is accepting applications for 2009-2010.  If you are going to be a first
year student majoring in any STEMM discipline and would like a mentor
for the upcoming year, please call Charlene Gilbert, 530-8570 or email

NEW!!  - A Women's Corps

Are you looking for an opportunity to volunteer your time?  If so,
consider joining the Eberly Center's new Women's Corps.

We need volunteers to serve as mentors to non-traditional women students
and tutors for girls in math and science at a local elementary school.

"Women in Astronomy"  Produced in-house about ten years ago, it features
Karen Bjorkman and Nancy Morrison, as well as noted astronomers from
around the world, past and present. It should be of interest to anyone
interested in women in science.
