Clothesline Project - Shirt Making Event

The Clothesline Project is a display of shirts bearing witness to
violence against women.

The purpose of The Clothesline Project is to help with the healing
process for women who are survivors or those who have lost a loved one
and to educate, document, and raise society's awareness of the extent
and impact of violence against women.

Come design a t-shirt - t-shirts and decorating supplies are provided or
bring your own.

Come to the Center for Women Conference Room, Tucker Hall 0180 anytime
between the hours of 10 am and 7 pm.

 

The UT Clothesline Project will be displayed Tues. April 13-Wed. April
14, 11am-7pm in the Student Union South Lounge and on April 17, 6-10pm
at Take Back the Night, Wayman Palmer YMCA. For more information, call
the UT Sexual Assault Education and Prevention Program at 530-3432.
