University of Toledo Women's History Month Keynote Address
"Women World Leaders: Where Are They?" with Evelyn Hu-DeHart
Scott Park Campus, Auditorium 7:30 - 9 pm
There have been many women presidents and prime ministers in the world
since WWII, but many Americans, even well-educated ones, are hard put to
name even one! Evelyn Hu-DeHart presents a gallery of these women
leaders with an explanation of why we know so little about them in the
United States. Evelyn Hu-DeHart is a noted scholar and professor of
history and ethnic studies; director, Center for the Study of Race and
Ethnicity in America (CSREA), Brown University, Providence, RI.
