Dr. Polk's visit is supported by an educational grant from the Frederick M. Douglass Foundation.

Objectives:  Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to:  1) give attention to priorities for medical students; 2) reconfigure clerkships and residencies to meet those needs; 3) introduce other concepts to attract the best students to surgical careers.

Accreditation:  The Medical College of Ohio and St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.  The Medical College of Ohio and St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center certify that this educational activity is awarded 1 Category I credit towards the AMA Physician's Recognition Award.  Each physician should claim only those credits that he/she actually spent in the activity.
