This note is to inform you of two changes associated with the IRBs:

1.  The KC system allowed for an “FYI” submission of information to the IRB for their acknowledgment.  An example is submitting a Data Safety Monitoring Board (DSMB) report to the IRB.  We recently released the equivalent of this in IRB Manager (i.e., the “FYI” xform).  Note that when using IRB Manager, you will no longer need to email the HRPP staff when submitting an FYI submission.

2.  The deadline to submit to the Cancer IRB convened meetings has been moved backwards by two business days.  For example, submissions to the October 2, 2019 convened Cancer IRB meeting was originally Wednesday September 18, 2019 by noon, but is now Monday September 16, 2019 by noon.
