[Irb] [EXTERNAL] Amendments

If you have an IRB approved study that originated in KC, please read the following information.


All active studies that originated in KC were imported into IRB Manager on October 1, 2019.  The transition process consisted of creating a study shell in IRB Manager.  All of the documents that were in the "Notes and Attachments" section of KC can be found in the "Study-Site Attachments" section of your study in IRB Manager.  It was NOT possible to import responses from the KC questionnaire into the new IRB application form in IRB Manager.

Since the amendment process in IRB Manager entails copying the New IRB Research form, you will not be able to make an amendment request to your study in IRB Manager until you "backfill" the New IRB Application form with the information from the questionnaire from KC.

If you anticipate the need to submit an amendment request, I recommend that you start this process now.  You will find instructions at:  https://www.utoledo.edu/research/rsp/irbmanager.html, under "News Bulletin".
